Cairo — Former Al Ahly star Khaled Gadallah asserted that Mohamed Salah plays a pivotal role within the Egyptian national team, not only technically but also in terms of leadership and fostering a positive team environment. Regarding Zico's flourishing form, Gadallah commented, "Zico's distinguished level with the Egyptian national team is credited to Hossam Hassan, who gave him complete confidence." He added that Hossam Hassan might receive attractive offers after the World Cup, and it would have been better for the Football Association to renew his contract before the tournament. Gadallah praised the national team's technical staff, saying, "Hossam Hassan and Ibrahim Hassan deserve praise for succeeding in creating a bond and love among the players, alongside achieving fairness within the team, which is one of the most important reasons for success."
