The production company behind the film "Idhma," starring Egyptian actor Ahmed Dawood, has officially released the movie's trailer across its digital platforms. This launch precedes the film's anticipated premiere in Egyptian cinemas during Eid al-Adha and on June 18 in other Arab countries. The announcement was made via the production company's official Instagram account, generating significant buzz among fans for the upcoming cinematic release.
"Idhma" Plot and Production Details
The official trailer for "Idhma" features intriguing scenes that hint at a dramatic shift in the life of the protagonist, Issa Al-Shawaf, portrayed by Ahmed Dawood. His world is turned upside down after receiving a mysterious message, compelling him to embark on a quest to find a treasure game he created in his childhood. The film stars Ahmed Dawood alongside Salma Abu Deif, Hamza Diab, Jessica Hossam El Din, and Bassant Shawky. It is written and directed by Mohamed Sadeq and produced by The Producers, led by Hany Osama. "Idhma" is based on Mohamed Sadeq's acclaimed novel of the same name, published in 2020, which achieved widespread critical and commercial success across the Arab world.
