"Hour of Luck" Play Premieres on Second Day of Eid al-Adha at Opera Malak

Ahmed Zeidan, the playwright and poet, announced the launch of the new theatrical production "Hour of Luck" (Sa'at Hazz), presented by the Youth Theater. This artistic endeavor is scheduled to commence on the second day of Eid al-Adha 2026, taking place at the Opera Malak Theater in Downtown Cairo.

Production and Patronage Details

The play unfolds under the supervision of artist Tamer Karam, director of the Youth Theater, and enjoys the patronage of the Minister of Culture, forming a key part of the Ministry's Eid al-Adha celebrations. As it happens, this premiere highlights Egypt's ongoing commitment to enriching its cultural landscape and supporting emerging artistic talent. Mahmoud Teimour penned the script, while Ahmed Zeidan handled the dramaturgy and poetry, with Hossam directing the production.
