Egypt — Ekhbary News Agency
Major General Mohamed Elwan, Governor of Assiut, has issued directives for all executive bodies within the governorate to elevate their state of readiness to the highest level. This measure precedes the launch of the 29th wave of operations aimed at removing encroachments on state-owned and agricultural lands. The campaign is set to commence on Saturday, May 2, and will continue until July 17, 2026.
Implementing Political Leadership Directives
The Governor's directive aligns with the instructions from Egypt's political leadership, including Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development and Environment. These ongoing efforts are part of a broader governmental plan to reclaim state rights and protect agricultural areas from illegal constructions and occupations, reflecting a sustained commitment to upholding land regulations across the nation.
