Melania Trump Denies Epstein Connection, Advocates for Victim Empowerment
First Lady Melania Trump on Thursday condemned what she described as "lies" linking her to the late, convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. In a clear effort to distance herself from the controversial businessman, Trump urged Congress to hold hearings that would allow his victims to testify.

Donald and I were invited to the same parties that Epstein occasionally attended, given the common overlap in social circles in New York City and Palm Beach." She added for clarity, "To be clear, I had no relationship with Epstein or his associate, Ghislaine Maxwell."
In a move widely supported, the First Lady called on Congress to provide a platform for Epstein's victims to share their experiences. She said, "I call on Congress to grant the women who are victims of Epstein a public hearing specifically focused on survivors, allowing them the opportunity to testify under oath before Congress, ensuring the gravity of documented testimony. Every woman should have the opportunity to tell her story publicly, if she wishes, and have her testimony permanently recorded in the Congressional record."
