The Egyptian Ministry of Interior, under the patronage of the President, announced the extension of the 28th phase of the "Kolona Wahed" (We Are All One) initiative for a full month, commencing May 1, 2026. This measure is part of ongoing efforts to alleviate financial burdens on Egyptian families and provide essential food and non-food items at high quality and discounted prices, reaching up to 40%. This aligns with political leadership directives to bolster the social protection system across the country.

Unprecedented Expansion of Outlets

With the approaching Eid al-Adha holiday, the Ministry decided to significantly expand the initiative's reach, increasing the number of participating entities starting May 10. The total number of available outlets and branches for citizens has reached 3,477. These include 3,093 commercial chains, 109 butcher shops, 107 mobile convoys, and 168 main and subsidiary stalls spread across public squares in various governorates.

"Aman" System's Role and Accessibility

The "Aman" system, affiliated with the Ministry of Interior, continues its crucial role by providing discounted goods through 1,300 fixed and mobile outlets deployed in main streets and squares. This ensures that support and essential commodities reach every citizen in Egypt's villages and cities. Citizens wishing to benefit from these discounts can access the complete map of outlets and stalls via the official website of the Ministry of Interior, reflecting the Ministry's ongoing commitment to social responsibility and providing comprehensive care to its citizens.
